Restaurant Cleaner

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner/Steward to ensure our restaurant maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping all areas clean, supporting the kitchen team with dishwashing, and maintaining a sanitary dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and other restaurant spaces.
• Wash and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment properly.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Empty and dispose of trash following waste management guidelines.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables as needed.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow health and safety regulations to prevent contamination or hazards.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or stewarding in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong hygiene practices.
• Physically fit and able to stand, lift, and carry cleaning equipment for extended periods.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
