Required tasks
The position of Reservation Agent at Swissotel Al Murooj requires the following duties:
- Reservations Management:
- Receive and process hotel reservations via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Ensure accuracy of guest information, accommodation details and special requests.
- Leverage your hotel’s reservation system to manage reservations efficiently.
- Customer Service:
- Provide personal assistance to guests, answering inquiries and resolving problems promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and policies to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest comments and communicate effectively with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.
- Sales and upselling:
- Promote additional services, upgrades, and entertainment to maximize revenue.
- Identify upselling opportunities and contribute to achieving sales goals.
- communication:
- Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth check-in and check-out.
- Administrative tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and no-shows.
- Create reports as needed for management and other departments.
- Stay up to date with current promotions, packages and discounts.
- Problem solving:
- Handling and resolving any issues related to reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other staff members to find solutions to challenges that may arise.
Terms and qualifications
Swissôtel Al Murooj requires certain conditions to be met by the booking agent, which are:
